| Putting the game away with 6 in the 1st and holding Nicolina scoreless until the last inning, Awnings improved their record to 2 and 2. For the winners Bob Lorincz (3 runs, 3 hits), Neil Grandstand (3 hits), Oscar Harrison (3 hits, triple, 4 rbi's), Rich Polonitza (double, 3 runs), Pete Osborn (double, 3 rbi's) and Rich Grossberg led the hitting. For the Pizzamen Steve Brownstein and Mike Caputo each had 3 hits. | |||||||||

| Good hitting, strong pitching and fine defense were too much for The Office as Kilkenny continued their winning ways 14-0. The Kilkenny offense was led by Ron Kulik with 3 hits. Rich Kovach pitched a complete game shutout and John McLaughlin chipped in with a couple of outstanding plays in the outfield. The Office managed 9 hits with Fran Wallington, Danny Mendoza, and Charlie Wischusen getting 2 hits each. The Office dropped to 1 and 2. | |||||||||

| A shorthanded Creative team scored early and often defeating Associated 19-3. Home runs by Geoff Polston, Steve Ferro and Frank DeLuca along with Bill Reichle's 2 triples led the Creative attack. Joe DePierro won his 3rd game of the year. For Associated Larry Lesnik and 'Bo' Bodine had 2 hits each, and John Tomaine had a strong defensive game at third base. | |||||||||

| Kilkenny, behind the strong pitching of Howie Busch, rolled to their second straight shutout, 17-0, against a non-hitting Nicolina Pizza team. Kilkenny hitting was led by John McLaughlin (4 for 4) and 3 hits each from Ron Ivory and Hector Dominguez. Asked for a comment after the game, Ron Zimmer, Nicolina Manager said "bats quiet". | Down 14-2 after 4 1/2 innings, AG2 rallied with 10 runs in the 6th and scored the tying run in the bottom of the 7th to send the game into extra innings. Bob Lorincz (4 for 4) and Neil Granstrand (3 hits) each had two hits in the 6th inning rally, and Ray Meigs had a key hit in the 7th. The Office scored in the top of the 8th taking a 15-14 lead but in the bottom of the 8th Rich Grossberg and Bruce Symon singled to start the winning rally and Pete Osborn's 4th hit of the game drove home Bob Lorincz with winning run. Wayne Michael had 3 hits for the winners. Danny Mendoza (3 hits, double, triple, 3 rbi's), George Merlo (3 hits, double, rbi) and Fran Wallington (3 hits, 2 doubles, 4 rbi's) led The Office offense. | |||||||||
