Renda Roads 12, LLG/Frenchy's 8
	In a well played defensive game, every Roadman contributed multiple hits and had an RBI. LLG tried to mount a comeback in the 7th, after Renda scored 6 times in the 6th, only to fall short.  Renda Roads leads the series 1-0.
	Awnings Galore 11, Linda’s Driftwood Bar #1/Linwood Inn 10
	Awnings Galore, with 20 hits for the game, turned a triple play to stop an early Linda’s rally. Trying to overcome an early 6 run deficit, the Barmen narrowed the lead to 4 runs in the 6th. After Linda’s plated 5 runs in the top of the 7th to take a one run lead, Awnings came back with hits by Frank D’Antico, Tom Pasko (2B) and Mike Kovach’s walk off double to end the game. Bob Lorincz, D’Antico (2B) and Kovach (2-2B) were all 3 for 3. Angelo Melillo, Neil Granstrand (2B, 4 RBIs) and Bruce Crawford (3B) had 2 hits each. For Linda’s, Jack Helfrich had 3 hits (HR), and Joe Sarica, Mike DiRienzo, Joe Menza, Ron Martins, and Tommy Siano each added a pair of hits.  Awnings leads the series 1-0.
	Linda’s Driftwood Bar #2 11, D & K Associates 10
	After D & K jumped out to an early 5 run lead, the Barmen fought back to earn the victory in a game that had O’Neil Thomas throw out a runner at home for the final out. For the victors, Willie Shumate and Mauricio Fernandez had home runs, Al Brown was 2 for 2 (3B and a walk), while Mike Smith and Keith McDede had big hits.  Linda’s #2 leads the series 1-0.
	Roselle American Legion 22, Top Line Appliance 9
	Ed Kushner turned the clock back with a perfect 4 hit night in support of Harry Streep's complete game victory. John Amato, Al Genova, Dennis Valvano Bill Buteau and Gene Antonucci chipped in with 3 hit games.  Bill Dugan homered. Top Line, pounding out 25 hits, was led by Don Montefusco, Greg Hartnett, Tom DeRocco, John Fessock and Dave Ball each with 3 hits.  The Legion leads the series 1-0.
	Contact Lens & Vision 18, AJ Jersey 2
	CL&V broke open a close game scoring 17 runs in the final 4 innings.  The Lensmen were led by Bill Boyle with 3 hits.  Kerry Gelb and Peter Byer supplied the power with 2 long back-to-back home runs in the 6th inning.  Contact Lens leads the series 1-0.
	Sun Tavern 16, Molly Maguire’s 7
	Falling behind 6-2 after 1 inning, Sun Tavern battled back with 3 runs in the 2nd and 5 in the 3rd. Each inning featured run-scoring triples by Paul Newton who had five RBIs. Bill Moore with 4 hits and Ed McColgan with 3 led the Sun Tavern attack. John Malone put the game away with a base-clearing bases-loaded double in the seventh inning. Pitcher Mike Garcia picked up the win and Dennis Baker earned a Goose Gossage-like three-inning save. Highlights for the Molly’s were Vic Trindade’s 3 hits, Nick Pace’s nice play on a foul pop, and Bill Hinkle hustling to first to cover on several plays.
	Molly Maguire's 27, Sun Tavern 8
	Molly Maguire's jumped out to an early 17-0 lead and never looked back.  Vic Trindade (HR, 5 runs scored) and Dave Drechsel (2-2B, 5 RBIs) each went 5 for 5.  Bob Ghiretti 4 for 4 (2-2B, 3 RBIs), Keenan Phelan 3 for 3 (5 RBI’s), and Pete Katula 3 hits (5 runs scored) also supported winning pitcher Bill Hinkle (3 hits, 3 RBIs), who did not allow a baserunner until the fourth inning. Joe Hrubash and Mike Garcia each had three hits for Sun Tavern.  This series is tied at 1 game each.
	Renda Roads 7, Roselle American Legion 5
	For the Legion, Jeff Baier hit a 2 run homer and Pat Mooney drove in two runs.  Harry Streep pitched an excellent game and was aided by several outstanding defensive plays from Baier, Al Genova, and Jim McCullough.  Renda Roads leads the A Division final series 1-0.

	Supporting a well pitched game by Pat LoPiccolo, were home runs by "Supe" Reddick and Willie Shumate for the victors.  Molly's offense was led by Nick Pace with 3 hits (RBI), Vic Trindade with 3 hits and Al Burton with 2 hits (2B, RBI).  Linda’s Bar #2 leads the C Division final series 1-0.

	Renda Roads wins the A Division series 2-0.

	The Barmen, displaying solid team hitting, were led by Joe Sarica with 4 hits, Jim Sydlo, Mike DiRienzo and Joe Menza 3 hits each, while John Esposito and Pat Enright added 2 hits apiece. The defense turned 3 double plays.
	Contact Lens & Vision 10, Linda’s Driftwood Bar & Grill #1/Linwood Inn 5
	Ken Zierler hit a triple, went 3 for 3, and played an amazing 3rd base making incredible diving plays, leading The Lensmen to victory. Jerry Archibald also was 3 for 3, Kerry Gelb had 2 hits and 3 RBI's while Bernie Maguire pitched a gem and Peter Byer played a stellar shortstop. For Linda's  Mac Kowaleski had 3 hits, Joe Sarica, Pat Enright, and Stu Lukowiak added a pair of hits each.  The B Division series is tied at 1 game each.
	Molly Maguire's 11, Linda’s Driftwood Bar & Grill #2  4
	The Molly’s took a 6-0 lead after 2 innings and coasted to victory, aided by some good defensive play, especially in the outfield. With all Molly's players contributing at least one hit, Dave Drechsel led the offense with 3 hits including a home run, double, and 6 RBIs, with Pete Katula adding 2 hits and scoring 3 runs, and John Anthes blasting a triple.
	Molly Maguire's 18, Linda’s Driftwood Bar & Grill #2  4
	After winning first place outright in the division, Molly Maguire's rallied as they had in their semi-final series after losing game 1 to take the final series. It was the second title for Molly's, the first coming in 2009 in the B Division. Molly's led 6 - 1 going into the bottom of the 4th and blew the game open with a 6 run inning. Leading the offensive attack were Dave Drechsel with 4 hits and 6 RBIs, and Nick Pace, Bob Ghiretti, Mark McGlynn and Jim Capizzi with 3 hits and multiple RBIs as well. On the defensive side,  Molly's was flawless, led by Pete Katula, Billy Hinkle, Pat Ahern, Vic Trindade and John Anthes.  Molly Maguire’s wins the C Division series 2-1.

	In this low scoring game, winning pitcher Tom Siano held the Lensmen to 7 hits while dominating with first pitch strikes. Key hits for Linda's were delivered by Steve Lerner, Mike DiRienzo, Jack Helfrich, Mac Kowaleski, Stu Lukowiak, and John Esposito, who also added 2 walks. For CLV, pitcher Bernie Maguire had 2 hits.  Linda’s Bar #1 wins the B Division final playoffs 2 games to 1.
