| Kilkenny scored 3 in the 1st and had two 5 run innings in defeating The Office 14-1 at Tremley Field. The office managed only 9 hits off Kilkenny's Mike Santo who pitched a shutout for the first 6 innings. | |||||

| Harry Streep pitched a great game and chipped in with 3 hits. George Vircik also had 3 hits for the winners. For Associated, Dave Goodman (3-3) Phil Fink (3BH), Ron Horinko (2H) and Dave Bell (2H). | |||||

| Creative went out in the 1st without scoring and Awnings came back with a 6 spot to set the tone of the game. Six singles and 3 walks caused the damage. A 5 run outburst in the 4th, led by Bob Sachs' 2 run home run put the game out of reach. Leading hitters were Neil Granstrand (3-3, 2R, RBI), Ray Meigs (3-3, R, 2RBI), Oscar Harrison (2H, 2R, 2RBI, 3BH), Rich Polonitza (2H, R, 2RBI), Rich Traub (2H, R) and Tom Colandro 2H, 2R, 2RBI). Tom Pasko pitched a strong game for Awnings. | |||||

| Trailing 9-1 after 2, Creative put up a BIG 14 runs in 3rd, 5 in the 4th and 6 in the 5th to put the game out of reach. Relief pitcher, Fred Zebro, pitched the final 5 innings, picking up his 1st UCSSL Super 60’s win. | The score was tied at 1 after 2, but the Kilkenny bats woke up and they scored 21 runs in the next 5 innings to advance to the A Division finals against Awnings Galore II. | |||||
| Kilkenny totaled 32 hits , led by Mike Santos and Al Feigenbaum, both going 4 for 4. The high light of the game was a 5-2-3 triple play by Kilkenny in the 5th inning. | |||||

| Awnings again scored 6 runs in the first as they pounded out 8 singles in the inning for the early advantage. Tom Colandro’s pitching and solid all-around defense made the lead hold until back-to-back home runs by Pete Osborn and Wally Dusko leading off the 6th inning put the game away. | |||||

| Associated was leading 9-8 after 4, but Robin’s Nest put up a 6 spot in the 5th to take control of the game. Harry Streep pitched and won the 2nd and final game of the series. Leading hitters with 4 hits each were Ray Pelesko, Ed Kushner, Tony Orlando, and George Vircik. With 3 hits were Harry Streep and Mark Cowen. Associated leading hitters were John Tomaine (3-3), Gerry Carchio (2 2BH), Phil Fink (2H, 3BH) and Dave Bell (2H). Robin’s Nest will host Creative Too in the “B” Division finals. | |||||

| The Backyard Grill opened up with 3 in the 1st and Creative answered back with 4. It remained close, 5-4 Creative, entering the bottom of the 4th when Creative scored 6, featuring a 3 run triple by Ray Cozzarelli, followed by 2 in the 5th and a single run in the 6th to win going away 14-4. Howard Gerber, after a shaky start, settled down to earn the complete game victory. Leading hitters for Creative were Marv Scherb (3H, 3R, HR, RBI), Demo Cervelli (2H, 2R, 3BH, RBI), Nick Lehotsky (2H, 2RBI), Rich Vitaliano (2H, R, 2BH, SF, RBI) , Charlie Lehman (2H, 2R, RBI), Al Notchey (3H, 2R, RBI), Emil Ranaudo (3H, R), Howard Gerber (2H, R, RBI), Joe McEvoy (3HR, RBI) and Ray Cozzarelli (H, 3BH, 3RBI). | AGII scored 5 in the 3rd to take a short lived 6-5 lead. Kilkenny responded with 8 runs over the next 3 innings to take game 1 of the best of 3 series 13-8. Awnings was led by Rich Traub (2H, R), Bobby Rahnenfuhrer (2H, R, 2RBI), Bobby Lorincz (2H, 2RBI), Neil Granstrand (2H, 2RBI) and Tom Pasko(2H). Rich Grossberg and Wayne Michael each scored 2 runs. | |||||

| Kilkenny wins the “A” Division for the second year in a row, sweeping a good Awnings team 14-2. | |||||
| Kilkenny was led by the solid pitching of Mike Santo and the hitting of Bob D’Meo (4-4), Ron Kulik (3-4), George Manos (3-4) and Mike Santo (3-4). Kilkenny also played a good defensive game. Awnings managed just 11 hits in the game with 2 each by Rich Traub (R, 2BH), Bobby Rahnenfuhrer (RBI) and Bobby Lorincz (2BH). The two teams battled throughout the year with Awnings giving Kilkenny their only losses of the season as the teams tied for first place in the “A” Division with 20-4 records. | |||||

| Harry Streep pitched a strong game and had 3 hits in leading the Nesters to their victory. Also with 3 hits were Ed Kushner, George Vircik and third hitter Tony Orlando. Ray Pelesko had an outstanding game with 4 hits. Creative fell behind early, 9-3 after 2, and never got back into the ball game. Bob Berger (2-2), Marv Scherb (2-3) and Demo Cervelli (3-3) led the Creative offense. | |||||
