| On a very windy and sunny night at Memorial Park #2, the Douglas Boys were knocked from the undefeated ranks by a fired-up Phenomenal Boyz squad. In the loss for Douglas, Lou Rivera led the offense with four hits, while Fernando Diaz added three hits before exiting the game with an injury. Donnie Perkins continued his hot hitting, collecting three hits, including a towering home run, and Chris Yee also contributed three hits in a strong offensive performance. Despite the productive night at the plate, Douglas was unable to overcome the energized Phenomenal Boyz, who handed them their first defeat of the season. | ||||||||
| Angry Joe’s 22 Echo Tap & Grille 18 | ||||||||
| Angry Joes capped the evening with a 13-run rally over the 5th and 6th innings to secure the 22-18 victory. The Echo Grillmeisters had a 17-9 lead go into the bottom of the 5th but could not maintain the offensive surge. Leading the barmen were Roy Alexander and Ryan Driscoll who both were a perfect 4-4. Steve Halper, Joe Sheridan, Chris Paternostro and Greg Thomas all had 3 hits. Chipping in with 2 hits was Scott Rosenbloom. Cruz Moctezuma and Nick Mennona each added a knock. | ||||||||

| The Barmen jumped out to an early 3-0 lead, but Dowling’s answered quickly with 5 runs of their own in the second inning with solid hit after hit. Rocky’s responded with a 6-run inning to take the lead and never look back securing the win over Dowling’s Tavern 16-13. Rocky’s offense was led by Dave Martorano (4-4, 2 RS, 3 RBIs), Tim Carey (2-2) Don Sheehy (3-4, 3 RS, 2 RBIs), Todd O’Reilly (3-4), Gary Roman (3-4), Ellan Ben-Hayon (2-3, 3B, 2RBIs ,2RS), and Anderson Monzon (3-5, 3 RS, 2 RBIs). | ||||||||

| A sun drenched Tremley Point Field served as the backdrop for this battle between old B division rivals. The Barmen jumped out plating 6 runs in each of the first 2 innings behind an offense that produced 15 hits in the first 2 innings. They eventually opened a 20-8 lead after 5 innings, but Terawulf plated 12 in the top of the 6th to close the gap. Echo scored 1 in the bottom of the 6th to forge the final 21-16 score. Grillmeisters who were perfect on the night included Dr Rob Wallace, Joe Sheridan and Eddie Engram, all who were 4-4. Collecting 3 hits for the Tapsters were Greg Thomas, Lloyd Haymes and Scott Rosenbloom. Roy Alexander, Eric Hastrup and Steve Halper each added a pair of timely hits to support the offense. | ||||||||
| Douglas VW 17, Rocky’s Bar & Grill 10 | ||||||||
| The Douglas VW boys jumped out to an early 12-run lead and then held off a fierce Rocky's comeback attempt to secure a 17–10 victory. Leading the offensive attack for Douglas was the red-hot Lou Rivera, who went 4-for-5 at the plate, including a home run. Donnie Perkins and Steve Steransak also enjoyed big days, each collecting three hits. Adding to the balanced offensive effort, were Frank Padovano, Hector Munoz, Mario Fastiggi, Farlan Alusik, and Rich Gaul who all recorded two hits apiece. On the mound, Rich Gaul pitched well and earned the victory, helping Douglas withstand Rocky's late rally and close out the win. Rocky’s offense was silent for most of the game until a late surge in the 5th and 6th innings and still could not overcome Douglas’ strong defense. Rocky’s offense was led by Pete Abene (4-4, 2 RS), Tim Carey (3-3), Craig Michaud (2-3), Gary Roman (2-3), and Tom DeGregorio (2-4) in the loss. | ||||||||
