David Powers 59, passed away on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at the Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Elizabeth, NJ surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was born in Elizabeth, and he lived all of his life in Roselle Park. He was a letter carrier for the US Post Office in Union for over 30 years. He was a member of the Choral Arts Society, the First Presbyterian Church, Roselle, and was a church master. An avid softball player, his nickname on the team was "Super Dave" and played in the Union County area.
He was predeceased by his brother, William Powers and his sister, Rosella Peters. Survivng are his former wife, Kimberly; his three sons, Phillip A., Johnathan D., and Spencer R.; brother, John Powers and a sister, Catherine Powers.
