Treeline to left is 315'. Open field to center and treeline to right is 305'. Outfield has a ridge in center 260'from home plate that curves around to right field at 240'. Outfielders must run up for deep flies; it can be very awkward. Grass is very lumpy; every bounce can be an adventure. Home plate is a sand pit. Getting solid footing is at the expense of having to climb out of the trench to run to first.
Take Route 18 to Route 1 south.
Route 1 south (1.7 miles) to Route 130 south.
Route 130 south (2.2 miles). Turn left at Washington Place (Getty station at corner), continue over Farrington Lake and make left onto Hardenburg Lane. Turn left into parking lot. Nice dugouts. 294' to left field fence which then goes deep to center. 325' to light tower in left center. RC and RF are open.
Coming from the North: Follow Route 1/9 South, exit onto Route 35 South. Cross the railroad track and bear left at the “Y” intersection; you’ll be on Freeman Street. (Woodbridge High School is on your left). At the Stop sign, turn left (still on Freeman). Go to first traffic light. Turn right and then make an immediate left; turn onto Port Reading Avenue. Go toward the first overpass, but bear left to avoid going over the overpass. Turn left onto 4th Street; then go straight to the field.
Coming from the South: Follow Route 1 North until it becomes Route 1 & 9. Get into the right lane and exit (soon) onto Route 35 South. Manalapan Recreation Park Field 2
Field 2 is a lit field. LF 286', CF 284', RF 265'. It is a "full-service" park, ideal for tournaments. Each field has lights. The park has children's play areas and snack facilities. Parking is excellent. Picnic areas abound. Shade is excellent. Best overall facility in central Jersey for A and B ball.

Michael Tighe Memorial Park Field 7
Fences 305' all around. End of park road, end of parking lot, on left side. Dugout; poor shade otherwise. Also a baseball field; raised mound and grass cutouts for baseball. Field is well-kept; traditionally balls do not carry. In 2004 state tournament with 50+ A teams (incl. Major Plus HR hitters) not a single HR was hit by anyone. Grass cutout makes it difficult for OF to adjust to hitters. Excellent parking, picnic area with roof.
Park is approx 2 miles due south of Freehold. From Rte 9: Go west on Rte 524, Adelphia Road, approx. 1.5 miles. Shortly after passing Freehold Twp. H.S. on left is traffic light; Georgia Rd. Open field park. From the GSP: Go east on Rte 520, Newman Springs Road, towards Red Bank. After about 2 miles you will approach a traffic light/RR crossing combo. Get in the right lane, make a right onto Rte 35. Immediately get over to the left lane and go left onto White Road. After about a mile it will end at Branch Ave. Go left. This will put you back onto Rte 520. After approx 1/4 mile you will pass Prospect Ave. Then look to your left. You will pass Laurelwood Dr. Then you will see a sign for Sickle Farm Make a left, the Park is at the end of the road (couple blocks distance). If you look at a map, Queen's Drive is across the road from the entrance to Sickle Park. It is in Little Silver, zip 07739.
